Marco Radaelli

Graduated in cello at the Conservatorio G.Verdi in Milan under the guidance of M°Marco Bernardin. He later specialized at the Accademia Musicale Chigiana in Siena with M°Mario Brunello (vlc.) and M°K.Harada (chamber music). He attended masterclasses with M°Enrico Dindo and M°Frances M.Uitti. 

He also attended master classes at the Accademia Musicale di Parma with M°E.Bronzi and completed the three-year High Specialization Course at the Fondazione R.Romanini in Brescia with M°M.Brunello.

 

He has collaborated with the Teatro alla Scala Orchestra and the La Scala Philharmonic Orchestra since 2002 to date. From 2007 to 2009 he was invited as first cello in the prestigious Camerata Salzburg. He plays in various orchestras in Italy and abroad (Filarmonica della Scala in Milan, Orchestra del Teatro La Fenice in Venice Teatro Regio in Turin, Orchestra Sinfonica della RAI in Turin, Orchestra della Radio Svizzera in Lugano, Camerata Salzburg des Mozarteum, I Cameristi della Scala...) in the most important concert halls of the World. 

 

He also performs intensive chamber music activity in various ensembles from Duo to Quintet.

From 2001 to 2007 he was a member of the "Farben Ensemble," specializing in the twentieth-century and contemporary repertoire, with which he won several national competitions (Luigi Nono, Giulio Rospigliosi) and the first prize overall at the "Orpheus prijs 2004" in Antwerpen. He is a cellist co-founder of the ensemble "Risognanze," with which he carries out an intense concert activity in the field of contemporary music. 

With the "Quintetto Bislacco" he is invited to major international festivals (Settimane Musicali di Stresa, MiTo Settembre Musica, I Suoni delle Dolomiti, Sion Festival, Locarno Festival...).
