TYPES OF DATA PROCESSED
Automatically collected information
The computer systems and software procedures used to operate this website acquire, in the course of their normal operation, some personal data whose transmission is implicit in the use of Internet communication protocols.
This is information that is not collected in order to be associated with identified interested parties, but which by its very nature could, through processing and association with data held by third parties, make it possible to identify the users, the computers used by the users who connect to the site, the addresses in URI (Uniform Resource Identifier) notation of the resources requested, the time of the request, the method used in submitting the request to the server, the size of the file obtained in response, the numerical code indicating the status of the response given by the server (successful, error, etc.) and other parameters related to the user's operating system and computer environment.
By visiting the site, the following information is automatically collected:
- User hostname. The hostname or Internet Protocol address of the user requesting access to the site.
- HTTPS header, and the "user agent" string that includes: the type and version of browser used and the operating system with which the browser itself works.
- System date. The date and time of the user's visit.
- Complete request. The exact request made by the user.
- Content lenght. The consistency, in bytes, of each document sent to the user.
- Method. The request mode used.
- Universal Resource Identifier (URI). The location of resources in the server.
- The Request string of the URI, that is, everything after the question mark in the URI.
- Type of device used to consult the site.
- Protocol. The transmission protocol and version used.
Information automatically collected by the Conservatory, through access to the website, is used for the purpose of improving the quality of service provided to users of the site. This information is collected for the purpose of conducting (anonymous) statistical surveys, to determine which data/content is most or least useful/interesting to users and thus be able to improve the effectiveness of the material available on the site.
Data voluntarily provided by the user
The optional, explicit and voluntary sending of e-mail messages to the addresses indicated on this site involves the subsequent acquisition of the sender's address, which is necessary to respond to requests, as well as any other personal data included in the message.
Aside from what is specified for automatically collected information, the user is free to provide the personal data indicated in the request forms. Some information is indicated as mandatory, as it is necessary to fulfill the expressed requests. Failure to provide them may result in the impossibility of obtaining what has been requested.
For the direct collection of such data, it will be the visitor who will release his or her personal data and the corresponding consent to its processing with regard to the individual services and/or performances requested from the Conservatory such as: registration to the website or restricted areas, information request, registration to courses and events, newsletter or mailing list. The consent given may subsequently be revoked at any time.

COOKIES
1. What are Cookies?
Cookies are small text strings that sites visited by the user send to the user's terminal (usually to the browser), where they are stored in order to be re-transmitted to the same sites the next time the same user visits. In the course of browsing a site, the user may also receive on his terminal equipment cookies that are sent by different sites or web servers (so-called "third parties"), on which some elements (such as, for example, images, maps, sounds, specific links to pages of other domains) present on the site he is visiting may reside. Cookies, usually present in users' browsers in very large numbers and sometimes also with characteristics of wide temporal persistence, are used for different purposes: performing computer authentication, monitoring sessions, storing information about specific configurations regarding users accessing the server, etc.
2. What are the main types of Cookies?
In this regard, and for the purposes of Order No. 229/2014 of the Privacy Guarantor, two macro-categories are therefore identified: "technical" cookies and "profiling" cookies.
a. Technical cookies. Technical cookies are those used for the sole purpose of "carrying out the transmission of a communication over an electronic communications network, or to the extent strictly necessary for the provider of an information society service explicitly requested by the subscriber or user to provide such service" (see Article 122, paragraph 1, of the Privacy Code). They are not used for any further purposes and are normally installed directly by the website owner or operator. They can be divided into navigation or session cookies, which ensure normal navigation and use of the website (allowing, for example, to make a purchase or authenticate to access restricted areas): our site uses non-persistent technical cookies for the sole purpose of improving your browsing experience and allowing you quicker subsequent access; analytics cookies, assimilated to technical cookies where they are used directly by the site operator to collect information, in aggregate form, on the number of users and how they visit the site itself; functionality cookies, which allow the user to navigate according to a set of selected criteria (e.g. language, products selected for purchase) in order to improve the service rendered to the same. Users' prior consent is not required for the installation of such cookies.
b. Profiling cookies. Profiling cookies are aimed at creating profiles related to the user and are used in order to send advertising messages in line with the preferences expressed by the same in the context of web browsing. Due to the particular invasiveness that these devices can have within the private sphere of users, European and Italian regulations provide that the user must be adequately informed about their use and thus express his or her valid consent. They are referred to in Article 122 of the Privacy Code where it provides that "the storage of information in the terminal device of a contractor or user or access to information already stored is permitted only on condition that the contractor or user has expressed consent after being informed in a simplified manner." Our site does not use profiling cookies.
Session and Persistent Cookies.
Session Cookies, which contain the information that is used in the current browser session. These cookies are automatically deleted when you close the browser. Nothing is stored on your computer beyond the time you use the site.
Persistent Cookies, which are used to maintain information that is used in the period between accessing the website, or used for technical purposes and to improve website navigation. This data allows sites to recognize that you are already known user or visitor and adjusts accordingly. "Persistent" cookies have a duration that is set by the website and can range from a few minutes to several years. However, the anti-tracking setting of any browser does not affect your browsing of our site.
First-party and third-party cookies Account must be taken of the different entity that installs cookies on the user's terminal, depending on whether it is the same operator of the site the user is visiting (so-called "first party") or a different site that installs cookies through the former (so-called "third party"). First-party Cookies are created and readable by the site that created them. Third-party Cookies, on the other hand, are created and readable by domains outside the site and whose data are stored at the third party. This site uses first-party cookies of a technical nature, for which, as mentioned, no consent is required, only this notice.
For more information regarding this type of advertising based on users' tastes derived from third-party cookies, you can visit the third-party sites at the links below. At the links www.youronlinechoices.com and www.aboutads.info/choices/ you will also find information about how behavioral advertising works and lots of information about cookies as well as steps to follow to protect your privacy on the Internet.

This Site uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google ("Google"). For more information you can visit Google's page on the use of cookies for Analytics(Link).
Google Analytics uses cookies to enable it to anonymously collect and analyze information about visitors' site usage behavior.
The main function of the _ga cookie, whose retention period is two years, is to distinguish one user from another on any web page where it is implemented, giving each visitor a kind of identity of their own. It stores a piece of data known as the "Client ID." This specific string of numbers, e.g., GA1.2.199569876.1588944855, associated with each visitor, is a useful combination to analyze visitor behavior on the Site and allow its operator to anonymously analyze the behavior of its visitors and consequently improve the Site and the services offered through it. In any case, Google, in order to offer website visitors the possibility to prevent the use of Google Analytics, has developed the browser add-on for deactivating the Google Analytics JavaScript(https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=it).
The site also allows the use of YouTube, owned by Google Inc. only to enable users of the site to enjoy content disseminated through the Conservatory's YouTube channel(LINK). More information on how Google uses cookies can be found at http://www.google.com/policies/technologies/types/.
The Site also allows users to express their preferences through interaction with other applications (so-called "social"). For example, by clicking on the respective "key" (button) on the pages of the Site, you will be able to access your Facebook, Instagram and SoundCloud profile and express, share or report your preference about the content of the Site. In this case, the information notice prepared by the company that owns the aforementioned application also applies in order to learn about the use that said applications make of your data.
