Margherita Franceschini

Margherita Franceschini is a child of art: she began studying the cello at the age of five with her uncle Lorenzo Corbolini and then graduated from the Conservatorio "F. A. Bonporti" in Trento under the guidance of Margherita Guarino.
After a long training in Italy and abroad (Stauffer Academies in Cremona, S. Cecilia Portogruaro, Incontri con il Maestro Imola, A. Bruckner Universität Linz, Musikhochschule Detmold, Musik Akademie Basel) she undertook an intense concert activity as a soloist and in various chamber groups, particularly in quartet
strings: Quartet Noûs and Quartet Athèses.

Contributing to his artistic growth were Stefano and Margherita Guarino, Enrico Bronzi, Giovanni Gnocchi, Xenia Jankovic and Rafael Rosenfeld for the cellist formation, Alina Company (Quartetto di Fiesole), Reiner Schmidt (Hagen Streichquartett) and Andrea Repetto (Quartetto di Torino) for the string quartet.
