Mario Scaramucci

Mario Scaramucci completed his musical studies at the conservatory "B. Marcello" in Venice, graduating in organ and organ composition (pupil of E. Bolzonello Zoja, W.van de Pol and S. De Pieri), choral music and choir conducting, harpsichord (pupil of A. Conti).

He attended master classes in organ with F. S. Colamarino (French and Spanish Baroque organ music), H.Vogel (music of D. Buxtehude) and H. Daviddson (composers of northern Germany ).

Awarded a diploma of merit in the TIM competition in Varenna (LC) in 1996. Author of the phonic design of the organ in the parish church of Lignano Sabbiadoro (UD). From 1983 to 1987 he was accompanist harpsichordist at the summer courses in Polcenigo (PN) held by K. Boecke and W. Van Houve. He attended choral conducting courses with I. Lukaszewski and J.Jurgens. After conducting the G. Verdi women's choir of Brugnera the children's choir V.da Feltre of Sacile (PN), the polyphonic choir "Savorgnano" of San Vito al Tagliamento (PN) with which he took fourth prize at the international competition in Malta ,since 1996 he has directed the Polyphonic Choir City of Pordenone and since 1999 the women's choir "Primo Vere "of Porcia (PN) with which he has participated in numerous European festivals (Europa Cantat, Eurotreff in Esslingen) performing concerts in Italy, Austria, Switzerland, France, Luxembourg, Belgium, Holland, Spain, Denmark, Poland, Hungary, Slovenia,Croatia, Russia, U.S.A.
He also completed his studies in pre-polyphonic liturgical music with Father P.M. Ernetti osb. and specialized in ancient semiography of music with N. Albarosa and B.Baroffio. From 1998 to 2014 he was Piano and Organ accompainist of the Chancel Choir at the USAF base in Aviano (PN). Since 1982 he has been engaged in teaching activities, having taught for more than ten years Theory, Solfeggio, Musical Dictation, Harmony, History and Musical Aesthetics at the music schools "Euterpe" in Casarsa (PN), P.Edo in Pordenone and at the institute A. Corelli of Vittorio Veneto (TV).

Since 2024, he has been Maestro di cappella of St. Mark's Co-cathedral Cathedral in Pordenone.
