Choir direction for teaching

Morena D'Este

Graduated in Piano and Choral Music and Choral Conducting from the Conservatory of Venice, she specialized with Maestros F. Corti, G. Acciai, J Casas, P. Eidenbenz, J. Jurgens.

He has taken courses in music education in Italy and on the Kodaly method in Hungary.

She specialized on Gisela Rohmert's Functional Voice Training pedagogy at the Lichtenberger®-Institut für Angewandte Stimmphysiologie, a branch of the University of Darmstadt in Germany.

 

A careful and versatile musician, interested in different expressive languages, she collaborates with theater and dance groups in kinetic and vocal research through sensory and functional work. In addition to taking courses in Educational Body Movement, DanceAbility, Dance Theater, Psychophony, in 2006 she completed a five-year training in Body Expression at the Conservatory of Padua with S. Martinet.

 

Conducts vocal workshops and seminars at choral and theater associations and institutions and

has sung with major vocal ensembles; in 1996 he recorded a CD with the medieval music ensemble "Le Reverdie."

In his long teaching career, he has supervised performances and prepared the children's voice choir in several operas, including P. Hindemith's "Let's Build a City" and " The Moon" by O. di Piazza, "The Little Chimney Sweep" by B. Britten, " Korczak's Dream " by P. Notargiacomo and " The Panda's Dream " by P.Tonolo.

As a trainer, he has held refresher courses for preschool and elementary school teachers at the Conservatorio B. Marcello in Venice in collaboration with SIEM.

From 2012 to 1016 he worked in the Educational sector of the Teatro la Fenice in Venice and from 2010 to 2024 with the Venice Educational Biennale.
