Stefano Pagliari

After graduating in violin under the guidance of G. Volpato and later in viola, at the Conservatory of Music in Castelfranco Veneto, he then completed his studies with internationally renowned teachers such as F. Gulli, P. Vernikov, Z. Gilels, I. Ozim, S. Accardo.

From an early age he won numerous scholarships in national competitions.

He has collaborated, also as first part, with various orchestral groups such as Orchestra di Padova e del Veneto, Orchestra da Camera di Mantova, Musicisti da Camera del Teatro alla Scala, Virtuosi italiani.

For many years he was first violin and soloist of the Venice Chamber Orchestra Ensemble.

He currently has many concert engagements with various chamber groups and has collaborated with artists such as F. Mezzena, J. Berger, P. Vernikov, A. Meunier, L. Mordkovich, M. Scattolin. He has collaborated with the Italian String Orchestra and for many years played with the Chamber Orchestra of the Brescia and Bergamo Festival, in numerous concerts also as soloist, in the most important International Festivals such as in Vienna, Tokyo, New York, Paris.

He has recorded numerous works including Boccherini's guitar quintets for "Rivo Alto."

He studied composition and plays contemporary music regularly.

He currently plays as first violin with the Orchestra Filarmonia Veneta.
