Enzo Ligresti

Enzo Ligresti graduated in 1989 from the Conservatorio "Benedetto Marcello" in Venice under the guidance of Aldo Nardo with highest honors. In 1991 he obtained at the Accademia Internazionale Superiore di Musica in Biella under the guidance of Corrado Romano a three-year advanced diploma with the following outcome "Excellent with special mention." He then attended the Geneva Conservatory, again under the guidance of Maestro Corrado Romano, winning the First Prize of "Virtuosité" with special mention in 1994.

In 1994, he performed in Geneva and recorded for Swiss National Radio the Mendelsshon Concerto with the Orchestra della Suisse Romande. He specialized with Giuliano Carmignola and attended the "Stauffer" Academy in Cremona with Salvatore Accardo (1994/1995).

He has made numerous recordings, some of them world premieres, collaborating with prestigious artists such as pianist Aldo Ciccolini and cellist Rocco Filippini.

Carries out intense concert activity as a soloist and in chamber ensembles in Italy and abroad with great acclaim from the public and critics, collaborates with prestigious groups such as: I Solisti Veneti, O.C.I. of Salvatore Accardo. He created with pianist Achille Gallo the "Devil's Duo" specializing in the performance of film music arranged by Gallo himself.
